There was exciting news early this morning as it was announced on JKRowling.com that "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" will be published through Scholastic and Bloomsbury to be made available to the public. The book will published in two editions, including a special limited-run Collector's Edition to be sold exclusively at Amazon.com (click the link to preorder now!). All proceeds from sales go to Children's High Level Group, Jo's charity which aims to de-institutionalize children living in appalling conditions. The book will include the original illustrations by Jo herself and will include special commentary by Albus Dumbledore that was "discovered after his death."
FandomForecast will be in attendance at the Live PotterCast tonight in NYC, where this is sure to be a hot topic. As always, stay tuned to FandomForecast for news of Release parties, wizard rock concerts & podcasts to commemorate this momentous occasion. Comments (2) |
